PATHWAY TO FREEDOM
Strategies that shape culture must be strategies that come from Heaven. While we were praying for our city and the nation on Louisville’s River Front, I heard the Holy Spirit clearly say “Pathway to Freedom” and then “Reverse it”
Kentucky played a major part in the escape and ultimate abolition of slavery. History records that famous revivalists like Charles Finney would travel to the Ohio River to help slaves escape to freedom. Kentucky represented the last slave state before freedom in the North. As a matter of fact, the first real anti-slavery congregation in the nation was started in KY by Frances Asbury. However, Freedom was represented by leaving Ky to get to the northern states.
This what we want to reverse! On June 19th, 2020 We will do just that! We will March in solidarity from Indiana on the Big 4 Bridge to Louisville, KY declaring that in and through KY there is a Pathway to Freedom. We will march together with different ethnicities as a prophetic declaration for racial reconciliation. We will march for the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King. We are marching as a picture of the unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17. We are marching in silent prayer for the abolishment of systemic racism.
Immediately following the march, we will go to the Lincoln Memorial on the Water Front for a time of corporate Prayer and Worship.
Will you join us on this historic day of freedom and reformation? Will you join us in a march and in prayer that declares because of the Blood of Jesus we can be catalysts for a Pathway to Freedom?
