Awakening Church is a body of believers marked by a distinct passion to pursue the presence of God. We are a community of believers that are very passionate about the things of God.

We desire to see the manifestation of the 3rd Great Awakening, revival and sustained renewal in our region and across the nation. We believe that the Kingdom is at hand, which means that it is within reach! We believe that God is good and that Jesus’ blood paid for everything therefore nothing is impossible!

Our culture is characterized by prayer, worship, the presence of God, family, revival, awakening, miracles and healings, and a culture of honor.

Whether it's your first time or you've recently become part of the family, we want to welcome you and also help you look for ways to get more connected and involved.

Core Values

Prayer- Direct and continual communication with God, Jesus said that my house shall be called a house of prayer (Matt. 21:13, Mark 11:17). The Apostle Paul urged us to pray with out ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17). This is in the context of living a lifestyle of prayer.

Presence- Hosting the presence of God is the primary goal of Awakening Church. God’s presence brings freedom (2 Cor. 3:17). When the presence of God is welcomed, God establishes His government. This is why Jesus taught the disciples to ask “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”  (Matt. 6:10)

Family- Awakening Church exists to equip people to function in their God given ability for the advancement of the Kingdom of God (Eph. 4:11-12). We want to unlock the identity of being a beloved son or beloved daughter and learn to walk in the inheritance of God the father. Which is to live a life of wholeness and complete freedom.

The Model

To the best of our ability, Awakening Church has been modeled after the church in the New Testament. From the ascension of Jesus until now there has been a movement that started in the upper room of Acts chapter 2 and spilled out in to the community. This string of events started from the place of revival and awakening.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2 was the initiation point of the church or ekklesia that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 16:18. The Holy Spirit empowered the early believers for Spirit led evangelism that supernaturally produced a large community of believers. So much so that according to this model and strategy the Lord added to the church daily.
